TriState Tool & Die is a manufacturer and processor of all metal prevailing torque locknuts. Our roots are in the tool and die industry, and we still maintain that ability. We have been involved in the design of tooling and machinery for the locknut industry for overs 30 years. Tristate continues to produce special machinery and locknut technology for ourselves and others. We have even worked in exotic metals and in the aerospace field.


TriState’s strength lies in our ability to design, build and innovate. Even though locknuts are a mature industry, we have been able to came up with new processes and production techniques.


TriState was awarded a patent for locknuts, giving us what we believe to be the fastest and most reliable locking process in the world.


Our refinements to the collar style nut make it possible for us to provide the best product possible at a very competitive cost. This even allows us to “Private brand” for others.


TriState is very excited about our recent advances in top-locking standard hex nuts. We believe we can “top-lock” nuts faster and more uniformly than anyone else. This translates into saving time and money for our customers.

TriStates’s growth has been the result of partnerships with fastener specialities. We deal exclusively through distributors. Our cage Code number is 06RM8 and our trademark is registered with US patent and Trademark Office and with DISC. TriState is also an approved supplier to the government.
